Simply break the life cycle:
- Stop cats eating dead sheep
- Stop cats eating offal
- Stop cats eating dead/dying lambs
- Stop cats eating abortion products
Remove carcasses
- Pits or trenches for carcasses and offal (preferably with lids)
- Pits can also be used to dispose of road kill, food scraps and eliminated marsupials
- Shooting, trapping, baiting
- Abandoned vehicles, machinery and buildings together with hay stacks, wood heaps and elevated buildings all make ideal nesting sites for cats
