Safety first for feral cats

Removing a feral cat trapped in a cage requires a mind to safe handling practice, and gloves protect the handler from the cats' claws which can easily extend through the cage grid. This multi-coloured female had been seen on the border of a 20,000 free-range chicken farm weeks earlier, crossing the main road about 100 metres from where this cage was located.
