Fangs and claws can easily penetrate the wire mesh

This almost possum-coloured feral cat was trapped the day after a much bigger male was trapped about 30 metres west of this trap. This trap was baited with a baby chick carcass, as was yesterday's trap.

This feral cat showed extreme ferocity that still pics often can not capture.
