Echidna in trap

In 5 years, this is the first echidna that has ever found its way into one of our traps.

Pelican Lagoon Research centre advised its chipped echidnas should have colour patch, so after inspection for same (not found) echidna was released and began digging into the earth at the same location, making no attempt to move away, so we did!
